House & Home

Memories are often trapped within a space and when you leave the space you leave the origin of those memories. Numerous memories have been made between when I started this as an observational drawing of my house to when I finished it as an acknowledgment to my moving on to college. The seven most important memories I have created within the two years are depicted.
From left to right:
The first Halloween my sister and I got along.
The last picture with my abuelita before she became ill.
My dog, who, after nine years, finally outgrew his puppy stage The first time Charlotte played for me. Later on she would reinvent what I considered a best friend to be.
The area where I became used to performing in an open mic format and, for the most part, overcame my anxiety of public speaking.
My first desk. I began creating my own space within my room.
The first technology+art project I worked with (a Tron inspired cosplay). Shown is the inside of a toy disc I bought and rewired to be silent.
